I am OBSESSED with Woody’s Wings and Things in Westminster, Colorado. It’s a Southeast Asian (SEA) restaurant that is super heavy on the things.
At first glance, the restaurant seems like an outdated family diner, but where they lack effort, you’ll find in their plethora of SEA dishes.
While they are known for their wings, where they really shine are through their Southeast Asian dishes such as larb salad, soups, fried whole lime fish, and MUCH more. And emphasis on the MUCH.
Their menu is massive and slightly outdated. But they do have a printed smaller list style menu (without photos) which lists their prices are dishes.
Portions are huge and prices are fair. It’s a family style dining experience that you do not want to miss.
So, if you’re intrigued, but overwhelmed (don’t worry, we somewhat still are), below is our guide on what to order the next time you make it out to Woody’s Wings and Things.
Address: 6817 Lowell Blvd, Westminster, CO 80221
#1 Lao Soup
This tangy soup is perfection!
It can be ordered with offal (intestines and organ) or pork. The flavor is tangy, savory, slightly bitter. It’s so good eaten with steamed rice in a bowl.
@ilovebowljobs DENVER ➡️ Y’all need to try LAO SOUP!🍲🇱🇦 It’s my first time trying Tom Keung Nai and I am hooked. It tastes like Vietnamese tamarind soup (canh chua) except with more flavor and aromatics. The tangy and savory combo is 🤤🤤🤤 You can eat it alone or with rice. Woody’s Wings and Things has a comically massive menu and the prices are outdated so make sure to get prices before you order. We ordered enough food for three people and everything cost $72! I’ll be releasing a part 2 and 3 (bc it was that good!!!!) so stay tuned! 🤗 #laofood #denverrestaurant #denverfood #denverfoodscene #denverfoodie #laosoup #tomkeungnai #denverblogger ♬ original sound – I Love Bowl Jobs 🍜
#2 CRISPY Chicken Wings with Papaya Salad & Sticky Rice
I can never eat chicken wings the same way again. This trifecta is perfect for snacking and dining with friends.
@ilovebowljobs Replying to @brayden DENVER ➡️ Try this ELITE Southeast Asian food combo at Woody’s Wings and Things! 🍗🤤🇱🇦🇰🇭🇻🇳🇹🇭 #imabowliever We got the CRONCHY battered salt and pepper wings, Lao papaya salad, and sticky rice. 🤤🤯🫨😮💨 What else should I try at Woody’s? 💭🤔 Stay tuned for part III! 🤗 #jungleasian #woodyswingsandthings #denverfoodscene #denverfoodie #denverfood #denverblogger #denverfoodies #ilovebowljobs ♬ original sound – I Love Bowl Jobs 🍜
#3 Phnom Penn Noodles (Hu Tieu Nam Vang)
Many people come to Woody’s for their Phnom Penn noodles. You can order it wet (soup in bowl) or dry (soup on the side). Definitely add some celery to brighten the dish.
@ilovebowljobs Replying to @Where's my socks?! DENVER ➡️ MUST TRY Phnom Penh noodles from Woody’s Wings and Things 🍜🇻🇳🇰🇭🤤#imabowliever This umami Cambodian/Vietnamese noodle dish can be ordered dry or wet. It’s packed with ground and sliced pork, shrimp, and FLAVOR! It’s delicious any way you dress it up! 🤤🤤🤤 🇻🇳: Hủ Tiếu Nam Vang 🇰🇭: Kuy Teav (kuay tiew) What should we try next at Woody’s?! 😋 Can’t wait to continue this series on my next visit! Who wants to join me?! 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻🙋🏼♂️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏿♀️🙋🏾♂️ #phnomphen #willtravelforfood #phnompenhcambodia #sendalexnoods #noodist #phnompenhnoodles #hutieu #hutieunamvang #vietfood #noodles #ilovebowljobs ♬ original sound – I Love Bowl Jobs 🍜
#4 Beef Larb Salad (Thai Style)

I am OBSESSED with their larb salad. Their Thai style salad is super tangy and perfect as is or with some sticky rice.
@ilovebowljobs DENVER ➡️ BEST Larb Salad in town! 🥗🇹🇭 #imabowliever Woodys does it again! Every time I come back here, I find new items to love. I almost got the Lao style, but the server suggested the Thai style because it would be more tangy. It definitely rocked my palate in the best way. 🤤 I might just move into this place at this point. #denverfood #denverfoodie #denverrestaurant ♬ original sound – I Love Bowl Jobs 🍜
#5 NamYa Spicy Curry Noodles
NamYa is a spicy curry noodle soup from Thailand. It’s typically made with fish, but Woody’s also serves them with shredded chicken.
The broth is a lighter and soupier version of Khao Soi. It contains milk, chicken broth, sliced cucumber, and chopped herbs such as mint, and more.
It’s SO GOOD and refreshing, but not really spicy though. I recommended adding some lemon for acidity and Woody’s chili oil for heat.
@ilovebowljobs DENVER ➡️ Namya Spicy Rice Noodles from Thailand 🇹🇭🍜 #imabowliever I am back at Woody’s to try more noodles and things. This is my first time trying namya noodles and I am obsessed. Definitely check it out and let me know what you think. ##namyanoodles##thaifood##denverfoodscene##noodlesoup ♬ original sound – I Love Bowl Jobs 🍜
