Here is my easy crack sauce recipe! It’s a riff on my Vietnamese Nuoc Cham sauce.
I love adding cilantro because it makes it taste more refreshing and aromatic.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons fish sauce (Squid brand)
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 whole lemon/lime juiced
- 3-4 garlic cloves peeled
- 1-2 Thai chilies
- 1 tbs white sugar OR honey
- A fistful of washed cilantro
Use the immersion blender food processor feature to blend everything together.
Adjust the ingredients as needed to balance the flavor to your liking.
I love mine very tart and usually add more citrus.
I like adding the cilantro last and roughly chopping them to keep some texture.
