WE LOVE TUNA SALAD! Here’s my go-to recipe that will take less than 20 minutes to make.
Ingredients
- 2 cans of canned tuna
- 2 heaping spoons or 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 2 diced celery stalks
- 1/2 diced red onion
- 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced (can also use garlic powder)
- salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh-squeezed lemon juice to taste.
- Optional chopped dill pickle (I use Grillo’s pickles from Costco)
Instructions
- Strain the canned tuna and diced pickle for 1-2 hours. The drier the better. Can be left in the fridge or on the counter to strain.
- Add tuna and pickle to a mixing bowl.
- Add the celery, red onion, and garlic.
- Add two heaping spoons of mayonnaise. Can add more to taste.
- Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate before serving. It tastes AMAZING chilled.
